Marty is SVP, Finance at Epic Investment Services. He sees every business challenge as an opportunity for growth through earned experience. In his 15+ years as a Chartered Professional Accountant, he has managed a myriad of investments for a wide array of clients with specific reporting requirements. Marty builds strong, capable teams that actively support Epic’s private clients through a deep understanding of their business and delivery of best-in-class service.

• Since November 2009 to 2019, Marty held the position of SVP, Finance for MDC Realty Advisors, LP.
• He is widely experienced with commercial real estate, open and closed end funds, income trusts, oil and gas, financial services, hospitality and non-profit organizations. He is highly adept in all aspects of accounting, including reporting/disclosure, business development, audit and taxes, banking and experience with commercial real estate, investor relations and human resources.
• Prior to joining MDC, Marty was a Controller for a group of investment products including 11 publicly traded structures on the Toronto Stock Exchange, a mutual fund corporation with five fund classes, and a flow-through limited partnership.

Marty received a Bachelor of Business degree at the University of Calgary and articled for his CA/CPA designation at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He works out of the MDC Realty Advisors head office in Calgary.
